Debbie loves all things food and travel and her culinary journey has taken her from her home kitchen to cooking classes and food adventures across the globe.
Debbie is a passionate self taught home cook who began her culinary journey in Brooklyn, N.Y. cooking along side her mother and grandmother. She learned from an early age that food is not only nourishing, but brings joy and connection as her family gathered every week at Grandma’s house for Sunday supper. Debbie’s cooking knowledge is expansive and crosses many genres from her countless hours watching The Food Network, taking hands-on cooking classes during her travels, and dining out to understand flavors and expand her palate.
Debbie started The Effortless Kitchen® as a personal chef business in 2019 and quickly adapted it during the pandemic into a platform for virtual cooking classes. It has since evolved into multiple offerings around cooking coaching, cooking demo parties, and culinary travel.
Debbie’s lifelong love of travel inspired her to create small group culinary trips, inviting others to explore different cultures through local cuisine and food based experiences.
Debbie’s philosophy around cooking blends healthy, flavor packed recipes with simple techniques anyone can master, perfect for beginners and seasoned cooks alike. Whether you are confident in the kitchen or just starting to cook at home, you will learn something new.
